Fridays are usually very laid back and lousy I swear. All my UK counter-parts are already in the weekend mood. So thankfully I'm not over-loaded with work either heeee-haaaaaaaw.
I just feel like lying back like this vegetable.

Any idea what this vegetable is called? It is very famous in Kerala though. Keralites might know it better. This has a very tangy taste similar to gooseberries.

Its widely used in Prawn and Fish dishes to give them a tangy citrus flavor.

They start off with beautiful red flowers which come up on the branches of the tree as you can see.

And end up in a bunch like this similar to grapes...

They are simply amazing to be eaten raw with table salt and red chilly powder. Mmmm so tangy, I can't stop winking after each bite ehuuuuu.
Leave me a comment if you know what this is called in English... Cheers!
Happy Weekend :)

Oh yeah, I've not eaten these fruits for a very long time. I used to eat them when I was little, the time when I was staying in the village. But can't find these after moving to town area. I can't even remember how it tastes like!!! he he... And thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Have a nice day!
