I went for my first trip to Nandi Hills on a Yezdi last weekend on Saturday, the 6th June. The weather was so pleasant and the company was great. I went with my little brother Anish, who doesn't look little to me in any way...
We left from home at 6:30 AM and what I packed for snack... is bread omlette.

Our first pit-stop, Petrol bunk of-course.
We then headed out on the mighty Yezdi towards Nandi Betta on the Bellary road.
Since we'd left early in the morning, the highways were pretty empty and it was great fun pillion riding at almost 80-100 Km/hr.
But Angella(thats what my borther calls his bike) got heated up a lot and suddenly stopped with a loud thud noise after riding for about 40 mins.

We had to pull over and Dr.Yezdi Expert had to do some self mechanics(which he is very good at with his Angella) and after a while he figured out that Angella had run out of air. She kept drinking a lot and forgot to breathe ;)

After fiddling with her for 30 mins, she started back up. Her druggg druggg druggg noise was such a relief for both of us. We started back on our way.
We followed the railway track for sometime from Devnahalli International Airport and finally could see the cloud covered Nandi Hills at a great distance.

Our 2nd pit-stop was at a small hotel near the foot hills of the mountain
.
We had coffee and some home-made idlis with a very spicy coconut and peanut chutney. The weather was so cold that I din't bother taking off my jacket and even my hood. It kept me really warm.

We then started climbing the Nandi Betta curves. The sight during the climb is worth enjoying. The cold breeze ran through my face and my nose was almost red like Rudolf the reindeer's red nose.
After a 15 min climb, we finally reached Tippu's fort.
This point is exactly 50 kms from my house(@ Hebbal)

This is the Kalyani at the fort. It had many beautiful big fishes moving together in big groups from one corner to the other.
The mountain that I climbed
Photographer taking a great shot.
It was a steep slope next to the rock that Anish is standing. I din't have enough guts to go where he's standing. I Love myself and my life a lot :D and warned Anish to be cautious too.
