Another great Indian Wedding

The much awaited wedding of one o'my good pal, Kavitha with Siva happened last Sunday the 14th June 2009.
South Indian weddings are all about a week long celebration of traditions and culture. But luckily this one was just a 1 day affair for me (not for the bride and the groom though). I'm so happy for both Kavitha and Siva. I wish the both all the happiness in the world.

The bride and the groom walk towards the beautifully decorated Mantap to perform the marriage ceremonies. Ohhh and yes, tears did roll out of the Bride and her loved ones eyes. It was a very emotional moment for all of us.

Me and the rest of the AToMiK Dolls were @ that venue early morning to help her out with her make-up and give her some moral support... which I don't think she ever needed. She was on top of the world that day :D

They both tied the knot @ around 8AM and performed all the rituals and left to Siva's house soon.
We then treated ourselves with some nice south Indian breakfast and took some rest to get geared up for the bigger event of the day, the Wedding Reception.

As usual, I was the early bird @ the venue to help out Deebs (thats Kavitha's nick name at college) and have some last minute conversations and make-up reviews. I must say, her beautician had done a good job. Deebs looked just gorgeous! So did the rest of the AToMiK Dolls too. Don't we ;)
I know you must be wondering what AToMiK Dolls is all about. Thats how our girl gang was famously known @ college. Well... it stands for the initials of our names.
A - Anshi (Me in blue)
T - Tina (Next to me in pink and blue)
M - Madhu (all in pink)
K - Kavitha (the bride)

Cheers to a long happy married Life :)
I'm eagerly awaiting whose turn is it gonna be next... is it me? ;)
God knows :D
