Drishyam - Vision can be deceiving

Vision is one's perspective of viewing things around them. But when you see, you only look from your view. Another person would perceive the same thing in a different view. Views are subject to one's state of mind.
The character "Georgekutty" in the movie Drishyam was a self-educated man with a passion for movies. His vision of movies, was "learning through viewing", rather than just limiting it to entertainment alone. His reflexes worked faster than that of an IGP and many educated intelligent uniformed cadres.

The movie's plot had many messages and morals to be passed on to this generation of both the parents and the youngsters. Hard working, humanity, self education, contentment, intelligence, bonding, relationships, pride and dignity were a few of the many traits this movie portrayed, but all in all, this was a complete family package for the young and old alike.

The climax of the movie, the dialogue between the two fathers was commendably well scripted. The essence of the movie is well spoken in a few lines there, and accepted by both parties without an argument. It shows the maturity of the subjects and lifts up the Malayalam race to a new high, with one side of well groomed highly socialized party, while the other just a self-educated orphan.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
