A Love Letter...

Dearest wine gal….,
It was a long weekend for me- 4 days, the longest in 2013. On Karnataka Rajyotsava/Kerala Piravi day, I dropped you off at work. Then I visited the Banaswadi railway station to make sure our train halts there. I dozed off the rest of my time. Evening I picked you up. We hurried home, finished the packing and set off.
We got a bus to RM nagar Ring road. From there we picked an auto and got to Banaswadi railway station. The Garib Rath express would come by 9 30 PM. We started off to celebrate our second honeymoon.

At around 8 AM, we reached Pondicherry. We took a rick to go to Devis Grand Hotel. After freshening up, we set off to breakfast opposite Pothys. We had masala dosa, plain dosa, vada and coffee. Then we took a walk hunting for the museum. The museum was closed. We took a stroll at the beach and since it was so hot, we sheltered in the park. We bought some ice-cream and relaxed a little while in the park.

After this, we got into the adjacent book-store. I picked up “Shakespeare-Man of the theatre” after examining the whole book store. From here, we took a rick and set off to Aurobindo ashram. It was a long walk to see a gigantic golden dome. The ashram had a lot of trees, but the sun won, the heat was so destroying even here. We sat down and relaxed for a while after reaching the dome. Then we returned to the entrance, and took a rick to go to Auroville beach. Here we got into an air-conditioned restaurant, and cooled ourselves. The wait for food took a while, but we wanted to spend as much time as possible over here. The food was good. Then we took a stroll to the beach and touched the waters. After this, we sat down and relaxed gazing at the huge sea ahead of us. The waves were so romantic.

We took another rick and reached Devis grand. We relaxed in our room for a good time. Then we had dinner at Anjappar restaurant. The food did not excite us very much. We then asked the receptionist to change our room as our room had been infested with cockroaches. He gave us a better room, a bigger more comfortable room. We relaxed the night, got up late and freshened ourselves and checked out by 11. Then we had breakfast in the same restaurant as the previous day, with the same menu with additional kesari. From here, we walked into the botanical garden. We took a jolly toy train ride. Then we walked the garden, sat down and played rummy. After a while, we paid a visit to the Aquarium. From here, we went to the beach in search of lunch. We walked to Promenade and another restaurant but we were way past lunch time. We then found Madame Shanthi’s roof top restaurant. We were the last customers here. We ordered beef, prawns and squid along with beer. It was a very nice yummy lunch. From here, we walked into 2-3 shops and bought some handicrafts items of Pondicherry. After this, we took several strolls on the beach and saw the night weekend life of this place. We munched mango and fruits. We sat down for a while and then got into the Café run by PTDC to have some cold-coffee.

Our time here was drawing to a close. We hired our last rick of several ricks the past 2 days, to take us to the place to board the bus. The ride took us into the heart of Pondicherry, where we saw several hotels and shops. We reached SRS office. We bought some antiquity and I took a last smoke. The bus arrived, and we boarded the bus. It was a nice jolly ride back to Bangalore, very comfortable and safe. We reached Bangalore by 530. At Shanthinagar, we had coffee and then we took a bus to Shivajinagar, then to KRPuram. Then we took a Bangalore rick and got home. We relaxed the whole of Monday and at evening, we shopped at Family choice.

Thus we celebrated our first anniversary, our second honeymoon. I am drenched and soaked with your love. You are so good to me, so nice, so pleasant, so loving, so tender, so caring, so pleasing, so joyful. I am blessed and ever blessed. I thank Divine Providence for having found you- the greatest gift of my life. The FB wishes from near and far of so many friends, who I have not seen or met, brings so much emotion to me. This life is bliss, it’s heaven on earth. And you are so pretty, you carry yourself so well. When I walk by your side, I am so proud of that. So many people who noticed us, would think, what a great couple we are. And we indeed are! What a way to start, and what a way to close one awesome year. Earlier on 29th Oct, we went to Spree for a candle-light dinner and that was amazing too. It’s all good, it’s all beautiful and it’s all so pleasant. It makes me rejoice and let me ever be grateful for all these things. Love you from the bottom of my heart, my dearest booboo wine gal, plum gal, sweetheart, darling, chakkare, panchukutty…….:)
