"Pattam Pole" - A great movie for me to review after a very long time. Dulquer and Malavika brought out the essence of strangeship, friendship and relationship in the 2 hour movie brilliantly created by Alaghappan in the serene hearts of Alleppey, Ooty and Kumbakonam.
3 Elements described by my Lincoln of movies:
If you are not married.... it motivates you to let go of your egos, and marry the one whom you love the most.
If you are married.... it makes you want to have a beautiful daughter like Riya or an intelligent son like Karthik who learnt the right things from their childish mistakes.
If you are parents.... it encourages you to live in the happiness of your children, and live by them for the choices they make in life, good or bad.
The essence of romance, trust, intelligence and importance to relationships shown in this movie is a great insight into the lives of most Keralites. I simply loved the cinematography, and specially the music of the movie which mesmerizes you to be transformed into a different world. A world of love, friendship, creativity, principles, character, modesty and traditional values in revealed so pleasantly. And I hear the hearts of all those who watched the movie go out saying.... "Ah, I can't believe that the movie is over! I can't get out of the mesmerizing effect of the whole thing!".
And the question I asked my better half was "Nee arinjo nee arinjo.... nee entethaanenn nee arinjo???"
