Vinnaithandi Varuvaya???

CHAPTER 1

"There are so many women in this world. But why did I fall in love with Jessie?"
A terrific start to a perfect movie, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. The whole story of the movie spins around this very line from the very beginning to the end. I don't think I've ever loved any movie to this extent in my entire life, after Alaipayuthey.

Vinnaithandi Varuvaya means "Will you Cross the Skies and Come?". It is a 2010 Tamil romantic drama film directed and written by Gautham Menon, featuring Silambarasan Rajendar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles with melodiously romantic and successful soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman. I ended up listening to the songs of this movie on repeat, everyday for nearly a 100 times may be. Yet they seem to fresh to me each time I listen to them. May be it's because I can totally relate to it, and I too don't seem to know how the movie of my life is gonna end.

The movie's a big hit, may be cos they started it on a blessed note by giving high praise to the most highest through the Hosanna song. It's one of the most amazing songs compiled I must say. I just love it to eternity.

I've started this chapter on my blog, because I wanna etch and relate to a couple of moments (both good and bad) described in this reel life story to a real life story. I read about a blog recently where this blogger watched the famous classic movie "Julie and Julia" repeatedly everyday for 365 days, and managed to create a blog entirely dedicated to his reviews on that movie. Here's that famous blog http://lawrenceandjulieandjulia.blogspot.com

I'm gonna try and attempt the same strategy. But I don't know if I'd be able to watch it everyday. I've been watching this movie almost everyday for the past couple of weeks, and it's kinda growing onto me, rather than making it boring. I hope my attempt is gonna be interesting. And if anyone of you happen to read this story, I'd love to hear your feedback too.

I read in the papers recently that this movie is gonna be remade in Hindi as well. I'm crossing my fingers that the Hindi remake would be as mind-blowing as the original version. I'm quiet eagerly waiting for more news around this in the coming days. For now, I'm off to start my watching session for today :)
