I was excited to spend my first weekend at Melbourne by visiting as many places as I could cover alone.
So my first destination was the Melbourne Aquarium.

I was so excited to see the penguins as soon as I entered the aquarium. I was literally running and jumping around like a small kid, to see the penguins feeding and taking a cute dip in the ice cold waters.
The creepy crawlies of the animal kingdom. Some of them were really cute and some were gross.
There were so many variety of tiny and huge fishes...all in such vibrant beautiful colors and textures. I was so amazed to see some of which I hadn't even seen on the Discovery channel or Animal planet. I'm a big fan of these 2 TV channels.
The most interesting were the Jelly fish. They were like little bulbs floating weightlessly in the water and their colors were simply brilliant.
Then came the big guys... huge sharks, sting rays and huuuuuuuge sea-turtles in the over-head tunnel tank. Gosh, the turtles and sting rays was my most favorites. The sharks were too fast for me to capture in my camera.
I even waited on for the Ocean-theater show by diver Johnny who was in the tunnel tank amidst the sharks and 5 feet wide sting-rays. It was a super cool experience.
