Our little wonder, our little blessing

Someone very important and special kept me away from here for a long while, nearly a year and half I must say. Putting our hearts and hands together, we welcome our little wonder, our little blessing, our sweetheart daughter on the 13th of April, 2015!

A new life was procreated according to His commands and we are proud to call ourselves parents of a beautiful little princess who is as precious as gold and as lovable as a rose. We are mightily privileged and blessed with this delicate life who brought a new meaning, a new ambition and a new goal into our lives.

Its easier said than done for many who say raising a baby is a child's play. Not two, not four, we literally needed eight hands to pull through the first couple of months. The journey was not just physically draining, but also emotionally demanding. We tried hard to cope up with all the challenges laid in front of us one after another, almost until we named our princess Raisa Aurelia - Princess of Gold. Raisa fought hard along with the rest of us, and she is now the reigning Princess of our hearts. As I write today with a smile, the pains of the past days are still diaphanous in my memory. I wish I could rewrite or redo a couple of days in history, but its not possible, and its not my fault, not anyone's fault. This was destiny, and this is how it was meant to be. So be it!

Stepping into a new avatar took a lot of thinking and reconciliation. It was a life changing chapter not just for me, but for all of us closely involved in it. Those sleepless nights and indefatigable days were rough on us. We owe it all to the grandparents who made this mountainous task so easy for us to manage. Their magnanimous support is what brings this smile on my face today. To me, becoming a mother was tough. But for them becoming parents again seemed like a pleasure they happily and kindheartedly obliged. Thank you mom and dad for your perseverance even during these years of your life. We both look up to you as our role-models when time comes for us to step into your shoes when this little sweetheart gets ready to step into our shoes in two-three decades from now.

A star was born, that star still shines!
