Honesty is the best policy!

The most world famous quote "Honesty is the best policy". But it doesn't say anywhere how much honesty is best.

Being honest is a good virtue. But in what terms you need to be honest is worth giving a thought. Be it in friendship, or at work, or with an acquaintance, or in a relationship or even with your own parents; being honest to one another strengthens your bond. But in certain circumstances it can also weaken a very strong bond.

Aden left Carry because she was honest with him. So... when you are honest with a person without any flaws, watch your step and see where you're going.

Being honest needs a lot of courage and a brave heart. If you cannot be honest with your dear ones, you should not attempt to make the dare.

The guilt in you will kill you to the core. And knowingly or unknowingly if you are being questioned about your dishonest act, you will tend to play the blame game, or start hiding or running away from reality. This will only put you in a more vulnerable position in front of others. Your game starts becoming transparent slowly. You will reach a point, where you are literally naked to the facts, and embarrassed to the core.

Honesty is a boon and a bane! So think before you act. Don't let your self esteem be shattered and trampled. Nothing worse than this is waiting to happen to you.
